Like Mother, Like Daughter...

....a BIG race weekend, and this year I was joined by my baby girl LEX, I decided to do the Emmett Tri again this year, and then Lexi decided she wanted to try it out too. So I signed her up for the Emmett Kids Splash n Dash. She did so so AWESOME, I was so proud of her. It was one length of the community pool....than .75 miles on her bike....than .5 miles running. After a very serious WRECK on the bike she jumped back on and kept on going, than she ran the entire 1/2 mile. Makes me cry just typing about it :)
My times weren't that impressive, I fell about 10 minutes shy of my expected total time, going to blame it on the HOT weather 94 degrees when I finished, and my goggles that decided to break right as the swim started :(
Another year and another BIG one completed! I can see many more for BOTH of us in the future.
