T-BALL...

Cole's first year of T-BALL.
I have heard the stories about t-ball but had never actually been to a game. What an experience! Cole seems to like playing for about 20 minutes or so then he starts yelling from the outfield "Mom are we almost DONE?"
Its a crazy scene kids goofing off, not looking at the ball, laying down on the field, picking grass and throwing it into the air, really its just CRAZY to watch.

He plays for the White Sox, he loves that the cheer at the end of the game is "White Sox Rock"
and of course that the WIN every single time :)

....they did make a great centerpiece for "Fried Chicken Dinner". We WERE really excited for the warm weather and the new tulips, but I guess there is always next year.

Mother of all Forts.......

Cole and I built a little fort in our front room about a month or so ago and it has been there ever since, the kids are having so much fun with it we decided to do a little adding-on. So today I got the materials gathered (trying to hurry before Lexi got home from school because I knew it would be easier with out her crazy ideas) and started construction....

First I took a couple pictures of the inside so I could strategically place things back were I found them.....

SOFTBALL...

Lexi and our cousin Hailey had their first softball game last night. It was freezing cold but the girls played on. Lexi went o-2 but I blame it on the faulty pitching machine :) Cousin Hailey got a sweet hit and made it all around the bags, before she was hit by the faulty pitching machine. :(
This season should be FUN!

Happy Easter!

We had such a great Easter, we stayed in our pajamas all day watching Conference, the kids played Conference Bingo, did puzzles the Easter Bunny left them, hung out in their fort, and then we headed out to Grandpa and Grandmas for dinner. The kids had an Egg Hunt, and then we hung around the fire pit and chatted with all the family. Grandpa even let Cole and Lexi shoot his bow
