OUR FAVORITE SUMMER DAYZ

Rich Family Summer Favs'
Roaring Springs, we love the water park. We have gotten passes the last few years and I try to take the kids on all my days off. Which of course doesn't help with the chores or my "TO DO" list but what the heck its summer right? Cole still was not tall enough for the 42" rides like the Family Ride, but he can still go on a ton of the fun ones. Dustin even came quite a few times with us this year, Lexi and him are RP's (there code name for riding partners) so her and her Dad get to go on the big slides and Cole and I hang out, or we take naps.
Red Box, we love getting movies a couple times a week for us and the kids. One of our DVD players broke before summer hit this year so we had to take turns, one adult movie, then one kid movie the next time. We love going to Redbox in the summer.
Snow cones, the Snow-Shack is our favorite family nite spot to go. Cheap and Delicious! Lex and I get Big-Stick, Cole likes Tigers Blood, and Dustins new fav is Very Cherry.

Pre-School Starts!

We decided it would be a good idea to enroll Cole in Pre-School this year. With his big Sister going to school, he really really wanted to go too. So we checked out some schools and decided on Challenger. He goes all day just like Lex, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I was and am very nervous about it, but his first day was perfect, he met new friends, remembered his cubby (purple balloon #4), took a nap, and has the name of one of his teachers memorized already. The only thing that was really worth remembering for Cole was the big huge tunnel in the playground. That's my Cole.

Eating a well balanced meal to start his big day off right. CORN POPS, YUMMY!

New lunch bag in one hand school tote bag in the other. 15 minutes before school starts, and its a 10 minute drive. Nothing like cuttin it close on the first day.

Lexi got to come the first day of pre-school, to help me drop Cole off. She may have been more nervous than me.

Out front just smiling.

We were almost to his class I made him turn and give me one more smile for the camera.

Here he is heading into his new classroom, Lexi said after he closed the door and we walked down the hallway "Is your tummy sick Mom? Mine is I'm scared for Cole" My tummy was definitely sick.

Triple Play Weekend

Playing in the Rain
It was fun to see the rain come down in the middle of this blazing hot summer. Alexis and Cole headed outside to enjoy it. And for the record, I made those ponchos myself.

My Big Triathlon
Well the big day has came and gone. I did the triathlon I have been training for forever. And of course I had some fans, actually lots of them, come out and cheer me through it. Although you never see my biggest, "biggest fan" he's behind the camera. Thanks Husband, I love you!

Lexi is so good at all my events, I can always hear her yelling "mom"

Already to hop on my bike and ride, but I had to go so bad...Thank goodness Dustin was there to grab a picture of this amazing moment.

Another crazy Tri-athlete, we just wanted to show off our sweet suits to the camera.

My good friend Kim, we have been running partners for years. They came out to cheer me on too!

I hope I look fast, this was the final stretch, then...the FINISH LINE.

Camping at Sagehen

After the race on Saturday, we went camping. The kids love camping so much. Cole and Lexi are both love fishing and always catch fish. They just kept themselves entertained all day. Plus they had Aunts, Uncles, Grandpas, Grandmas, and Cousins to play with.

Alexis and her cousin Chandler caught a couple of frogs and built their new friends this little home. Cole is spending a little time babysitting the two frogs, while they look for more.

Lexi took a spill on her bike and put a big goose egg on her head, so she's sitting with Grandpa to make her feel better. It worked, the tears dried up.

Dustin fishing.

Cole loves 4-wheeler rides. He went on a few, here he's testing out his head-lamp.
You finally get to see a picture of me and this is how I look? I felt really rough.
Alexis's pet frog I think she named him Herbert Angel.
A fish for Cole.

And one for Lex.

Just enjoying the boat ride together.

Total $5.88

I realize I may have a serious issue, I am highly addicted to Diet Dr Pepper....So when my brilliant sister called me and explained the great deal Albertsons had on Dr Pepper products I took full advantage. (Then randomly I even decided to make a pyramid out of them and take a picture of it) Whatever, I am not ashamed!
