Birthday # 3

6 Birthdays celebrated already, oh my gosh! Today our little girl is 7. I know we cant believe it, but she is excited. What is she doing for her Birthday? Lexi wants her Dad to smoke her some ribs for dinner, and we'll have a little ice cream cake after that . She is getting a bedroom makeover for her birthday present, a new alarm clock, nite lite, mirror, dresser, and some paint, we have been working on that all week. She is taking Big Stick Popsicles to daycare to celebrate with her friends. Its going to be a great day!

The Greatest Daddy Ever!

<

What can we say about our dad, well we sure do love him.
Lexi loves that he is silly, she loves to goof around with him, she loves when he tells her stories at night, and she loves that he is good at sports.
Cole loves him because he is awesome, he loves to wrestle with him, he loves teaming up with him to make the boys team, riding in his truck, going fishing, and talking about hunting.
We think he is the best daddy in the world.

Oregon Coast

We made a stop at Multnomah Falls, took a little hike up to the bridge so Dustin could point out to the kids were he came and swam under the Falls as a kid. The story went something like this...See that spot were the water is coming down (water falling 300 feet or more), well I thought I could swim underneath it, and well I couldn't, it pushed me really far under the water, it scared the crap out of me, I almost drown. (It was a very long hike, for that interesting story)

We saw tons of fish at the Bonneville Dam, ponds full of trout, and giant Sturgeon.

When we stopped and visited Bonneville Dam, we watched salmon, and shad running through the fish ladders.

Lexi and Cole just loved the ocean, Lex collected hundreds of sea shells. Cole loved the waves and the water, it was a little chilly the few days we were there but Cole got wet anyway.

My teachers name is Mrs. Davison

My Favorite Things...
My favorite subject is reading. My favorite school lunch is Macho Nachos.
The best thing that happened to me in school this year was being with my reading buddies. My favorite place in school is the office, where I get to see Mr Dudley. This year I learned about math. My favorite book is All About Me. Next year I want to learn more about math.

Fishing with Grandpa and Grandma

Alexis and Cole headed to Sagehen Reservoir with Grandpa Lane and Grandma RaNea, they caught 14 fish, Lexi caught the biggest fish, (pictured above) and she also caught the most. She was born to fish, she can out fish all of us. I think Cole caught 2, but he claims he caught alot more than that. They both were brave enough to jump in the freezing cold water too. When they got home we had a fish fry and ate all of those fish. They were yummy!
