O Christmas Tree!!!!

Another year of chopping down our Christmas Tree. We found this years beauty on Thanksgiving weekend. Up high in the woods, it looked perfect and just the right size. But as we got closer it "grew" apparent we were going to have to do a partial chopping of the length. :-) Why is it that they look so small from 1/4 a mile away? Anyway ended up just perfect and it filled up the spot in the front room rather well!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend....

We had a PERFECT weekend with our FAMILY, having dinner and thinking about all we have to be grateful for this year. Then a few of us headed up to the cabin to get a little time in the snow. We headed up into the hills in search of a Christmas tree and a good sledding hill. Grandpa pulled the kids around on their sleds with the four wheeler. We had a BLAST! (and we found our tree)I am so very thankful for the unbelievable family I was blessed to marry into. The three beautiful sisters I get to claim as my own and Lane and RaNae, who love me like I am their own daughter also. And Lexi and Cole have so much fun with their cousins. Family is the GREATEST blessing of all, and this year I am so so very THANKFUL for both of our FAMILIES!!

REAL snow in November....(We LOVE the CABIN!!!)

Another great weekend at the cabin! We drove up hoping for snow and it fell all morning on Saturday. We had our good friends the Drollingers up with us, and the kids played out in the snow for hours. So excited we are almost a week before Thanksgiving and we built a big giant snowman. It is something else to sit inside our new place and watch the snow fall into the river outside the window. Gives our whole family something ELSE to be GRATEFUL for this Thanksgiving Season!!!
