Womens Fitness Celebration

Alexis and I did the fitness walk this morning with the whole title nine crew. Well I should say we did half of it. We took the "special achievers" course so we could get back and open the store. It was the way to go, nice walk on the greenbelt, and no lines at the food when you finished. I was proud of Lex she walked fast and finished running. We had fun!

Our Lives......

These are the kiddos, the greatest part of everyday for us. Lexi is 6 Cole is 4. We are very proud parents! Everyday is a new adventure, two very different kids with very different personalities. Lexi is very much a girly-girl she loves her babies, and playing house. She is very fashionable, accessorizes all of her outfits, with clips, shoes, scarves, or hats. She loves bossing Cole around. Cole is all boy. He loves hunting, shooting guns, and talking about killing elk and deer. He loves playing baseball, playing in the dirt, and wrestling with Lexi and his Dad.

This is all of us....Dustin and I have been married 10 years. (almost 11) We live together in the greatest culdesac in Meridian, Idaho. Dustin works for Western Heating (15 years). I work for Title Nine, a new job I just started last year. I love it. What do we love? Spring and Summer is softball season, we head out to the ball field every week (and most weekends) to see Dustin play. We love playing on Grandpa and Grandma's boat in the Summer, the kids were both born fishies out of water, they love love being in the water. Most nights we are outside standing around in the culdesac with friends, while the kids play and ride there bikes and scooters, chatting. Oh we love naps on Sunday after Church....not a bad life we have.

"TONS OF KISSES"

I was of course out with my camera on a random day and got Lexi to pose for me a few times. I was uploading the pictures, and started to think about time, and how quickly it has passed.
I of course love her smile now (two front teeth still missing) but we think one new one is on the verge of coming in. I hope to always remember her smiling this way. Lexi is such a sweet girl, she is such a good big sister to Cole, and Dustin and I feel so blessed to have her.
About a month or two ago, when she is telling us goodbye, she started saying "TONS OF KISSES" it sounds so sweet. I hope to always remember her sweet voice saying that to us.
Well she's our girl, our once baby girl, getting so big. Thinking back today made me so sad, time passes by so fast, but of course these pictures also make me smile.

Weekend Camping FUN!

We headed out for the Labor Day Weekend to go camping and watch Dustin play in a softball tourney in Cascade. We had so much fun, camped at Stolle Meadow about 45 min outside of Cascade. We had great weather and everyone in the family was able to come and camp, so we had fun being together. It poured down rain on us for about 8 minutes on Saturday, but we had a little warning so we stayed fairly dry. All the kids just played until they passed out, both days. We have the tiniest tent in the whole universe, so the sleeping was miserable but whatever, we loved it.
Alexis and Cole where both so good, they just entertained themselves till I called them for lunch, ate lunch and headed out to play again . All the cousins played so nice together. We hiked, rode the motorcycle and four-wheeler, went for walks, shot guns, and the kids made up a ton of games to play, store, house, played on walkie-talkies. We just had a lot of FUN!

Get ready for picture OVERLOAD....

First Day of Second Grade.

The Big Day, Alexis is off to School. Its so fun to live in our cauldesac with all of these great friends that Lexi gets to grow up with. So the first day everyone meets out in the streets a little early so we have enough time to snap some pictures and talk about new outfits, or backpacks, or haircuts. I think we are so lucky.
First day of school outfits, of course she picked it out herself, i love the hot pink velvet belt.

Ethan, Alexis, and Briggs all big second graders. We have taken this picture every year, it will be fun to see them all put together in a couple years.

Loadin up on the Bus.

"See ya later Mom."

I asked Alexis a few questions after her first day of second grade...

Mom-How was your first day?
Alexis-AWESOME!
Mom-How was your teacher?
Alexis-AWESOME!
Mom-How was your classroom?
Alexis- AWESOME!

I guess she had an AWESOME first day.
