Happy Birthday Dustin!!!

Sunday was Dustin's Birthday. He turned 35, still so young! We had a little midnight party after the football game on Saturday and served up his favorite desert. Pistachio pudding on top of a thin crust, with cream cheese mixture, and cool whip. YUMMY!! Then Sunday we headed out to his Dad's where he received the best gifts ever...

from Brenda- some sweet Will Farrell suntan lotion :)and some Garbage Pail Kids trading cards. The secret is Dustin still has his from 20 years ago in a safe place in his closet. (remember those disgusting things???)

from Brandi- his old (probably 12 years old) sweatshirt that she stole from him 9 or so years ago and has been wearing ever since.

Another CRAZY T9 meeting...

Another FUN year at the Title Nine Managers Meeting. As always I got to meet and enjoy the company of many more T9ers as the company continues to grow. We did a little CROSS FIT (my first time, it was pretty fun) got to head to our shipping and receiving warehouse and actually WORK, (also so much fun) and then finished the week off with the T9 OLYMPICS. T9 Olympics is an all day adventure where all the local T9 employees and the remote Store Managers get put into teams and we hash it out ALL DAY LONG playing, flag tag, tug-o-war, lay-up contests, cup stacking, newcome (volleyball with a yoga ball), fus-ball (don't ask), dodge ball, three legged race, and water balloon tossing. The most FUN and EXHAUSTING time you can have as an adult and get away with it :) Her is just a few pictures of some fellow T9ers...

Dirty Dashin'...

My beautiful sister Brenda decided to put a team together for the first official DIRTY DASH and PIGLET PLUNGE in Boise. So I recruited my other two beautiful sisters, Tori, and Brooke and Brooke's bff Kassie. We dressed up with no regard to a cutsie theme or our name that my Mom came up with "SASSY SOWS". We looked quite ridiculous, and that sweet denim jumper I was in did not breathe well at all :) Anyway we made our way through 6 miles nearly all of it uphill, and every mile or so there was an obstacle of some kind, hay bales to leap over, giant tubes to climb through, walls to scale, tires to run through, sliding down a giant slip and slide, and it ended with a giant MUD PIT to swim through. Pretty AWESOME, had the best times with my sisters, we are gonna make it a new tradition. After we went the kids had their shot at the GIANT slip and slide and the mud pit. The pictures tell it all...

School Starts Again!!!

It is really here.
The first day of kindergarten for Cole. (sniff, sniff) Lexi and Cole are officially in the same school this year. Lexi is on her way to 3rd grade and Cole is going all day long to tuition kindergarten. Breaks my heart to see them both getting so big.
I love the first day of school pictures out in the caul-de-sac with all the neighbor kids and friends.

Hood to Coast 2010

My running buddy Heidi put together a team for Hood to Coast this year and I was so excited to be asked. About 8 months training for the "mother of all relays" and then the big day came.
A little info on the race... You start at the beautiful MT HOOD and finish beside the PACIFIC OCEAN in Seaside. The race is 197 miles, 12 runners, 3 legs each, we ran it in 27 hours and 45 minutes (we place 79th out of 315 teams in our division). WOWZA!
Everything was so fast and crazy I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. But here are a few...
A couple of the team and then of course our pre-race dinner.
A 2-FOOT pizza from a little pizza joint in Baker City. YUMMY!
I met 10 new people, ran my butt off on 1 hour sleep, and had the BEST time.

Labor Day Weekend!

We had a great weekend. Three days off for all four of us is hard to come by these days. So we headed up to Cascade on Saturday for a softball tourney, watched all day and came home late that night. We had a relaxing Sunday; went to church, watched some movies, and ended the day with a good friends birthday party. So then it was Monday and the BIG BRONCO GAME. We went for a ride on the greenbelt with the kids. It was technically our very first family bike ride on the greenbelt. Lex and Cole did so well, we rode about 8 miles from Veterans Park to BSU Stadium and back. Then we headed over to the Ranstroms to watch the game. Some good food, and a freaking AWESOME game!
