T'was the Morning of Christmas.....

Well, the kids must have made it on the NICE LIST this year because Santa did pay our house a visit. He filled their stockings with goodies, Lexi got an MP3 player and a Webkinz, Cole got some hot wheels. They both got a brand new sleeping bag and the game SORRY to share. Oh but Santa may have been outdone this year......Mom and Dad got the kids a Trampoline. Even though its freezing and there is frost covering it they have been out jumping all weekend. When it gets warmer we are gonna have fun jumping on it too!
We headed out to Lane and RaNea's to visit with the family. Lex got a new jacket and Cole got a new football.....

Then we headed back to visit with my Mom. It was a small Christmas miracle there, every single one of my brothers and sisters and all of there kids managed to all show up at the same time. I am not sure when the last time that happened was. It was good to see all of them. Of course I had my camera, so I did manage to capture all the grand kids, but I couldn't manage to round up the whole crew. (Way to many stubborn brothers and sisters :) who don't like to have their picture taken) I will post a few of the family later. Here is Cole in his new military present from his cousin Carson. Lexi got a fun craft kit from her cousin Hailey that's all over my house. (no pictures of that, it's scary around here)

CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE.......

I had yesterday off so I set out to occupy the kids and get some Christmas house cleaning done. So with several kinds of candy, a box of graham crackers, frosting, and a few neighbor kids, we made Graham cracker houses. I am not sure if Lex and Cole had ever made them before, they had fun! There was a little devastation when we couldn't make actual roof tops but they got over it.

So of course there had to be a little judging. The winners were EVERYONE....

Miri got Smallest Pinkness Award

Cole got Biggest Pile-o-Candy Award

Nelson got A Little on the Crazy Side Award

Hailey got Happy Ginger-Face Award (licorice mouth fell off)

Lexi got Most De-Licorice Award

My Sunbeams Melt My Heart.

My church calling for the last 2 1/2 years has been in Primary. First with Lexi and then this year I was with Cole in the Sunbeam class. I love Primary so so much, it is absolutely the best calling in the church.
Well last Sunday I had to work so Kaisley's Mom Cami offered to sub for me. Tonight she brought me my bag back an inside I found 6 thank-you cards. All my Sunbeams wrote me Thank-you cards. It was so sweet of Cami and the kids they made my night. All my Sunbeams will move on to their new class next year and I will miss them so much. So here is their beautiful artwork and what they said to Thank me....

Averee "Thank you for being nice to me & being a great teacher."
Cole "Thank you for taking care of me at church and letting me stay on the stage."
Curtis "Thank you for being nice."
Kaisley "Thank you for teaching my class."
Nelson "Thank you for bringing me to class and being a good teacher."

They do all melt my heart. (Thank you Cami)

Alphabet Crown VICTORY!!!!!

Cole would like to thank his mom, dad, sister, and great teachers at Challenger, Miss Roxy, Miss Julie, and even Miss Karen, for helping him gain this GREAT VICTORY!

It is official Cole has successfully received his Alphabet Crown. Which in non-preschool terms means he can recognize all his letters and tell their sounds all by himself. Of course he was as proud as he could be when Dustin picked him up from school. His teacher said he even had a hard time laying down for his nap after all the excitement of earning his Crown. We had been telling him when he was able to get his Crown he could go somewhere fun. So I hurried home from work and we loaded up to go to, Cole's choice, Wahooz. We were very upset to find it CLOSED for a private party. After a few tears we ended up at McDonald's for a vanilla cone and a little play time. Fun night. We are so so proud of you Cole.

Piano Recital

Lex had her first Piano Recital on Saturday. She started taking piano lessons about three months ago. We got lucky and get to store my Great Grandmother Bruck's piano in our home for a few years and that inspired Lex to want to play, she had been asking for a while. I figured with a piano in the house we would give it a shot. She played Jingle Bells, and We Wish you a Merry Christmas. Of course she did GREAT!

Loud and Proud

Oh my gosh.......We had the best time at Coles pre-school program. He is so so proud of himself. He stood so tall and had the biggest grin on his face the entire time. He kept looking over at us and given us thumbs up. Dustin and I probably looked so silly too, we could'nt stop smiling at him. It was so fun. He is such a funny kid.

Two cute songs they sung were....

A chubby little snowman had a carrot nose, along came a bunny and what do you suppose? That hungry little bunny looking for his lunch, ate that little snowmans nose. Nibble nibble CRUNCH!

One, two, three, four, five arms has a starfish. If a starfish lost an arm there is no cause for alarm. Look and you'll discover it can grow another.

Cute New HAIR CUTS, and the FANCY tree!

Lexi and Cole both got holiday haircuts today.
Cole says he looks handsome just like his Daddy.
Lexi always wants to go short. Its so cute on her.
I thought I would throw in the final picture of our Christmas tree this year. I know it looks like it actually needed the "hair cut". (Pathetic)
