Back to SCHOOL!!!

I say it every year...oh how time does FLY!

Alexis is heading into 5th grade, her last year of elementary school, and Cole is heading into 2nd grade! We headed out for our traditional group photo with all our best buddies in the culdesac.
Here's to another FUN year!

Mannie the Cat...

Lexi got her long time wish of having her very own cat. We adopted Mannie, a 5 year old girl that has been in my family since she was a kitty. These are some of the pictures that Lexi has snapped of the well loved cat (and one of herself).

 It was LOVE at first sight, for the cat and Lex!

Emmett Triathlon 2012...

Another year of looking forward to this fun tri for the kids. We were of course sooooo proud of them. They both had great races, Cole even got 7th over all in his age group. The swim for Alexis this year was 400m (8 lengths of the pool. We only trained for 4...oops.) But she was a champ and swam like crazy. Both had great bike and run times! It was a great day!!!

The other front tooth is out! 

This is my VERY FAVORITE way to see my kiddos smile!

Cole is striking gold with the tooth fairy these days. After the first tooth trick he played on the tooth fairy last month resulting in 2 $2bills. This time the silly tooth fairy forgot the first night and paid him $5 the next night to forgive her!
