High Tech Treasure Hunt...

Today was a big day, we headed out for our first EVER

Geo cache Adventure.

We needed our coordinates...

Two happy and willing kiddos...

and one VERY HANDSOME navigator with his GPS.

And then...

our very first "FIND", a little tiny capsule with only a piece of paper to write our name down...

So Cole and Alexis sign in,
and we carefully put it back in place.
Then we are off to the next one.

FIND #2 (Lexi spotted this one right away)
This one has lots of fun stuff so they dump out all the treasures to check them out.

Cole finds a Pojo ticket to take,

and puts in three marbles for a trade.

Then we head out again for our very last FIND.
The kids and Dustin study the GPS.

We are close now.

Victory! FIND #3 We add a quarter to this tiny box and take nothing this time.

SMILES all around!!!

I cant believe how much FUN that was.

Lets PLAY BALL!!!

Oooooo yea, here we go again, starting off another season of T-BALL for Cole... Seriously T-Ball is better then watching reality TV!!!

Cool new SAFE...

RAIN ruined our night...but then came ICE CREAM!!!

Cole was so excited for his very first T-Ball game of the season. His mom unfortunately missed the 4:30pm email that went out telling us all GAMES were canceled due to the weather. So we drove to the game, talking T-Ball Talk, like your gonna smack a home run right off the tee, catch every fly ball that falls to the ground next to you, and probably run faster then anyone on your team...you know a little parent pep talk, getting him all excited, and we showed up to empty fields.
:-( DANG

...but BASKIN ROBINS and a cotton candy ICE CREAM CONE changed all of that.
We look forward to better weather and our next game Wednesday!!!

Easter...

...we had a GREAT time up at Grandpa Lane and Grandma RaNea's. The kids found tons of eggs, I swear there were hundreds of them hidden. Then we had a great dinner, and hung out with the FAMILY.

...of course there is always EGG coloring this time of year.

I've been a SLACKER....

I have not been doing my very best keeping up on blogging lately. Its my works busy season, and well the weather has been crummy, and also we just haven't done anything really exciting lateley... I have really lame excuses but I am going to post a few random pics just because :-)

Dad and Cole...

This is a picture of Dustin and Cole having a little nap together. Cole was almost two weeks old, I remember taking the picture of them thinking how cute it was that their hands were in the exact same place. Then a couple of months ago we were over at our good friend and neighbors house, the Nichol's, and she handed me the lower picture, she had taken randomly one night at her house. She loved how they were in the exact same position too. I am back blogging and found the original and wanted to have both memories and both cute pictures together. I know, silly, but I couldn't resist...
