Family Trip to Lagoon

Water Park Highlights:

Saturday morning we started in the water park. It was so fun, Lexi went on all the big slides and of course loved the Lazy River. Cole got to go on a few bigger water slides also, but he also loved the Lazy River (he just lays on you, and wants to go around and around a million times, we loved it, a little snuggle time). We stayed and played at the Lagoon Beach till 2ish, had lunch and headed back to the Park.

Campground and Hotel Highlights:

We had family and friends staying at the campground right next to the park it was so nice to jet over there and eat and then head back to play at Lagoon. We would just all pile in and out of the same car (which helped making parking cheaper) going back and forth. We did however retire to a hotel room both nights which was nice considering it was blazing hot and they got rained on in camp.
Lexi and Hailey found a Snail.

Cole jumping on the Beds!

Lexi's bed on the Floor, she makes it look so comfy.

Lagoon Park Highlights:

We were at the Park most of the day Friday and Saturday from about 3 to 10 o'clock. The kids loved it. Lexi went on every single ride she was tall enough for including the big roller coasters and the crazy new ride Wicked. I am still very impressed at how brave she was. I went on Wicked once and that was enough, I think Lexi and Dustin rode it 3 or 4 times. Cole hung out in the kiddie section and rode tons of rides. The Park was so fun we went 100 miles and hour trying to get everything in.

The Log Ride with the whole family, we stood in line for about 20 minutes and put together a seating and weight shifting strategy so we did not get to wet. It worked perfect, obviously all the weight needs to be in the back :)

This was a big kid ride that Cole could go on, he went on it three times before we left.

First ride of the trip, Lexi and Dustin are in the very back car

Some of the crew waiting for to get on the Farris Wheel, this was the last ride of the trip.

One final story I have to tell.

So we are standing in line to go on a ride and this man says to me is that your daughter? He is pointing back behind me so I turn around, sure enough it is. The picture here I of course took after the fact, because I didn't want to forget this part of the trip...

...Lexi thought it would be fun to sneak of and play in this spinning fence thing. I guess schools been out so long she forgot to READ the sign. She managed of course to spin her self out of the Park with NO RE-ENTRY. After she realized she couldn't get back in she got very upset and started crying. That was when I was alarmed by the man and Dustin had to exit out and they both had a very long walk all the way around the Park back to the entrance where we were sitting waiting for them. I hugged her, then laughed.
