We made a stop at Multnomah Falls, took a little hike up to the bridge so Dustin could point out to the kids were he came and swam under the Falls as a kid. The story went something like this...See that spot were the water is coming down (water falling 300 feet or more), well I thought I could swim underneath it, and well I couldn't, it pushed me really far under the water, it scared the crap out of me, I almost drown. (It was a very long hike, for that
interesting story)
We saw tons of fish at the Bonneville Dam, ponds full of trout, and giant Sturgeon.
When we stopped and visited Bonneville Dam, we watched salmon, and shad running through the fish ladders.

Lexi and Cole just loved the ocean, Lex collected hundreds of sea shells. Cole loved the waves and the water, it was a little chilly the few days we were there but Cole got wet anyway. 
I am so glad you guys had fun. I love the Coast and sooo wanna go there soon...that or Disneyland (hint hint Drew :)
