Daycare Ducklings...

Here is the funnest story of a momma duck, who chose Cole's daycare to lay her eggs, so random. His daycare is in an older neighborhood but there are lots of houses. That momma duck must have decided she needed an audience for her new family to arrive. We had so much fun watching and waiting for the babies to come.

The timeline is out of order. Sorry you have to start at the bottom and skip around.

5-...and then momma duck leads them into the pond.
Perfect ending to the story.

3-Lindsey (the daycare lady) puts them in a box lets all the daycare kidos see them and then walks them down the street a little ways with the momma duck following her, (i love this part it is fun to picture it) to a neighbors house with a little land and water. (daycare was scared they wouldn't survive at there house) ...

4-She lets them go and the momma leads them out into the field...

2-The eggs hatch three or so weeks later. So stinking cute.

1-The Momma duck lays her eggs right outside of daycare' s front window in there flower bed. We watched her make a nest and then it took her days to actually lay the eggs, there were 9 or 10 or so.

More Utah Fun...

Next we went to the Copper Mine. We told the kids we were going to see a giant hole in the ground. When we got there Cole ran up and pointed straight down at this hole and said "Is this the giant hole, Mom?"

We loved these giant mining trucks, the regular trucks looked so small next to them.

This was the whole clan of kids.

Our Fun Weekend in Utah

Dustin, the kids, and I loaded up the car and headed to Utah for the weekend. We had so much fun, we stayed with a good friend of mine from high school. She is the host-es with the most-es, every time we stay with her and her family they pack our time with tons of fun things to do...

Thanksgiving Point-Dinosaur Museum Dustin and Cole pose with the shark (after taking 5 minutes to explain to Cole that the it was not real)...

Dustin and Lexi dig at the Dinosaur Museum- They made a trench, a dam, and then let it all rush out, they played forever in the sand and water.

Cole just liked the fact that he could put his hand in the sand and make a mess.

Thanksgiving Point-Farm City we checked out all the animals, including little tiny baby goats, the kids got a pony ride, they both said this was the favorite part of the day.
